Knowledge Updation On subscribing to internet connection the subscriber gets one e-mail address (some Internet Service Providers provide multiple e-mail addresses also) from the ISP, that address looks like: jindalas@ndf.vsnl.net.in , which reflects one e-mail connection for the entire organisation, However a person wishing to get his personal e-mail address (like ssjindal@-----) where the emails can be sent to him, can subscribe to free e-mail providers, like Yahoo.com, Hotmail.com, etc. which gives him an e-mail address like ssjindal@hotmail.com , the mail sent to this address can be read/ printed/ forwarded by logging on the providers website through internet. However if one wants to get an e-mail address without having an internet connection, like a way it reflects his name he can subscribe to e-mail forwarding service providers, which allow that the e-mail sent to that address would automatically be forwarded to another address of the subscribers choice (the address where the mail is forwarded can be of his organisation, friend or even the commercial service provider). So by having only one direct e-mail address like jindalas@ndf.vsnl.net.in one can also get the e mail addresses like :ssjindal@aworld.net etc. All the mails sent to these addresses will be received at the address jindalas@ndf.vsnl.net.in , and the person having the jindalas@ndf.vsnl.net.in address will receive the mails sent to ssjindal@---- and can inform ssjindal that your mail has been received by me. So using e-mail forwarding service and one e-mail address, one can get many other e-mail addresses, even without having a computer/ internet connection. o |
